Hatha/Nada Yoga: Moving with Sound

We are starting a new yoga class in Kamloops. This is a deeply healing class suitable for people with health conditions  like cancer, chronic fatigue, impaired mobility, chronic stress, and exhaustion.
Janis Goad will be teaching a restorative yoga class including:
  • opening relaxation and centering,
  • yogic breathing (pranayama),
  • a meditative flow of seated, lying, and inverted postures, with support using bolsters as needed
  • final guided and silent relaxation, and
  • closing meditation.
As the class progresses,  Audrey Meuse will improvise a meditative soundscape.  The sound vibrations of crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls,  bells, gongs, voicing and silence will energize chakras, organs, muscles and bones in harmony with the yoga asanas, and support deep cellular healing.
We are really excited about our collaboration and hope you will join us and help us get the word out to your friends and contacts.
